biography

Adrian Twigg is a versatile and experienced actor living in Sydney, Australia.

His passion developed at an early age and before long his talent gained him a scholarship with the Australian Theatre for Young People in 1993 at just 14 years of age. He was then selected through audition into the NSW State Drama Ensemble in which he was active throughout 1994 and 1995. In 1995 he auditioned for a place at the respected Newtown High School of Performing Arts in Sydney. He was accepted and spent his senior years of high school studying acting and performance as well as appearing in various productions.

After successfully completing a university degree in sociology, he travelled extensively overseas experiencing life in different cultures while increasing his own awareness and understanding of what he wanted to achieve.

Upon his return to Sydney he began rigorous training at The Actor's Pulse developing his skills as an actor following the traditions of the renowned Meisner Technique.

At the end of his first year his dedication and commitment to his craft was rewarded when he earned the three top awards from The Actors Pulse including Best Student. He was awarded 3 times again at the end of the following year.

He graduated in December 2007, with the school's two highest distinctions - the MVP award, and the award for "Best Scene work at an advanced level".
